Our Family
and our history

Keith ( Dad )
Keith - is the co-founder of Waikawau Valley honey. His beekeeping journey started in his late twenties, where he was a pioneer of a lot of beekeeping practices that are done today commercially. From traveling all over the upper south and north island shifting hives for pollination and chasing the ever moving honey flows, Keith has over 60 years of beekeeping experience that he is now teaching to his children. His love for beekeeping is evident in all his inventions he makes to maximise bee strength and honey production.
The Kids
From left to right
* Srayanne - The only daughter in our family, she's not a fan of beekeeping but isn't afraid to get her hands dirty when we need a extra pair of hands.

* Brendon - The youngest of our family. He has been a massive part of keeping our family business running. He took some time off school to help us get the business off the ground. Him and his older brother are the two full time beekeepers who look after our hives to make sure they're strong and healthy enough to bring in the quality honey we sell.

* Carlos - The Owner and Co-founder of Waikawau valley honey. Along with being the Head beekeeper he is also the oldest child.
